Richardson C.A.R.E.S. Award
Cooperation * Assertion * Responsibility * Empathy * Self-Control
Program Description: The Richardson C.A.R.E.S. program is a school-wide initiative designed to promote a spirit of community and develop a sense of leadership in young people.
In every classroom from K-5, there will be C.A.R.E.S. nomination forms available for students to fill out.
Students will nominate a peer for an “Act of Kindness” – something they did to; help, assist, support, thank, etc., someone when they needed it!
Nomination forms will be filled out by students, submitted and read on a daily or weekly basis by teachers in the classrooms.
At our Monthly All School Morning Meeting there will be a drawing from all the nomination forms at each grade level. A monthly winner from each grade K-5 will receive an award certificate and be featured in the C.A.R.E.S. display at the front of the school. Winners will also be featured on our website and in the newsletters.
